The gospel is the good news that God has made a way of salvation possible. The bible teaches that man's greatest need is to be reconciled to God. Because of our sin we are separated from God and we deserve eternal punishment for rejecting Him. God, however, is gracious and loving and has sent His Son into the world to bring salvation to all who repent and believe in His name.
